In partnership with the Regional President, you will drive key Company priorities to branches and across the organization within the South Central region and provide oversight to regional financial, operational, and overall performance.

This position has a focus to encourage growth of the team members within the region, current business and cultivation of new customers through consistent process and procedure, analysis, education, and development of operational best practices.

As a Region Operations Specialist, you will:

  • Provide strategic direction by aligning Company priorities with region and branch operational objectives through developing recommendations using experience, financial analysis and business insights to improve consistency across branch operations.

  • Manage region profit and loss performance through creation of best practices and optimization of efficient employee and department workflows in support of operational process improvement and all associated asset management

  • Proactively conducts regular evaluation of branch leaders, branch team and region performance to identify any barriers to success due to a lack of execution or knowledge affecting overall performance

  • Maintains the Company culture through support of the talent management process to enhance the customer experience and team environment by holding branch leadership accountable and providing coaching as needed to meet operational performance standards and performance goals

  • Maintains a current knowledge of industry trends and changes to ensure facilities are prepared and compliant

  • Routinely visits branch locations to review team, culture, financial operations and provide branch leadership with feedback and continued guidance

  • Responsible for building strong relationships and working alliances with internal departments or facilities to ensure proper management of policy, procedure, and regulations that govern the sales and service lifecycles (Finance, Fulfillment, Human Resources, IT, Procurement, Sales, Technical Services)

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management or equivalent

  • At least 8 years as a supervisor and at least 2 years of multi-functional leadership responsibility

  • Strong business acumen including the ability to understand and analyze financial information

  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record

  • Comfort utilizing technology and sales force automation tools

  • Prior knowledge of sales, asset management and inventory control

  • Multi-location, retail or service operations management experience

  • Skillful presentation, negotiation, and closing abilities

  • Highly motivated with exceptional customer service, planning, and organizational skills

  • Demonstrated strong technical financial and operating statement skills

  • Demonstrated leadership competence

  • Demonstrated ability to generate and execute strategies across a large organization

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree

  • Prior SAP knowledge

  • Dental industry experience

  • Knowledge of warehouse processes and procedure

  • Prior experience working with a commission-based sales team

  • Prior experience working with teams in remote locations

Travel and On-call

  • This position requires 50-75% travel
